About Key Bank
It was in 1852 that DeWitt Clinton, Governor of New York at the time was the first to sign the document which would establish the Commercial Bank of Albany. Forty years later, it changed the name of its bank and name to National Commercial Bank of Albany in the wake of the legislation of 1865, known as the National Banking Act.
